We founded CCA Group in 2003 because we saw the need for a firm with independent and objective views that were free from the conflicts of underwriters and syndicators. The executive management group that established the company has over 20+ years of experience in the Global Asset and Project Finance market. We have a long history of working together as a team developing and implementing complex financial solutions for our clients. CCA Group continues to expand its resource with new members of the group to address the continued growing demand for our services.

James Stahle, Senior Managing Director

Mr. Stahle is an original founding partner of CCA Group. He has been actively involved in the structured finance and asset finance business for over 28 years. His primary focus at CCA Group is working with institutional buy side clients on acquisitions and investments in asset oriented transactions in the energy, infrastructure and transportation sectors. As the managing partner of CCA Group, he currently oversees the day to day activities of the firm, capital raising activities of the firm and its clients, and cultivating new institutional clients across the various business lines. Prior to establishing CCA Group, he was a Managing Director at Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi, where he established the structured products platform to provide sell-side and buy-side advisory services to issuer and institutional clients, as well as syndication and distribution on principal and issuer mandates. He originally started his career as a syndication manager at the Bank of New England, distributing tax and non-tax transactions to investors on energy and transportation projects and raising capital for middle market and industrial companies.

To date, Mr. Stahle has been involved in over $25 billion worth of asset finance transactions as either a principal or advisor in renewable energy projects, oil and gas resource investments, thermal generation, transportation assets (commercial and industrial) and energy infrastructure for U.S. and foreign companies. His institutional clients include U.S. multinationals, insurance companies, U.S. financial institutions, private equity and hedge funds. He is currently a board member of the Melmark New England School and a corporator serving the Hallmark Health Group. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from Colby College.

He holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses and is the Chief Compliance Officer for CCA Capital LLC, the FINRA-registered broker dealer subsidiary.

Michael Quinlan, Managing Director

Mr. Quinlan is one of the original founding partners of CCA Group and has been active in the global asset and project finance market for over 25 years. During that time he has worked in a variety of capacities including transaction origination, structuring, syndication and advisory. Prior to CCA he was a Managing Director in the tax products group at BTM Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. where he was responsible for both sell-side distribution and buy-side advisory for institutional clients. Mr. Quinlan has participated in over $15 billion of tax-oriented financings across a wide variety of asset classes including aviation, rail, real estate, manufacturing, infrastructure and thermal power generation. More recently his efforts have focused on the financing of renewable energy assets with an emphasis on solar power. He has worked on several distributed generation programs and utility scale projects employing a variety of structures including lease, partnership and direct purchase. Mr. Quinlan is responsible for maintaining the firm’s existing investor base, and for the cultivation of new equity investors. Mr Quinlan earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

Martin Pasqualini, Managing Director

Martin Pasqualini has over 26 years of experience executing a wide variety of project and structured financings, including extensive experience representing sponsors, equity investors, lenders and construction contractors in connection with the development, financing, operation, acquisition and disposition of domestic and international power projects. Since 2004, he has advised sponsors and capital providers in connection with over 80 utility scale wind and solar project financings representing over 12,000 MW of installed electric capacity and over $20 billion of capital investment. Mr. Pasqualini has also advised developers in connection with development platform acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, as well as single project acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Pasqualini has negotiated debt and equity financing documents and the entire range of project documentation (power purchase agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, easement agreements, construction contracts and manufacturer’s warranty agreements) associated with the development and financing of renewable electric generation projects. Prior to joining CCA Group, Mr. Pasqualini was a Managing Director in the Tax Products Group at BTM Capital Corporation and was formerly a partner in the Project and Structured Finance Group of Bingham Dana LLP. Mr. Pasqualini earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Boston College and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School.

Michael Feng, Managing Director

Mr. Feng joined the company in 2003 and oversees economic modeling and the development of various structured finance products. Prior to his joining CCA Group, he was at the Tax Products Group at BTM Capital Corporation, where he helped develop and execute various tax-intensive asset finance transactions. Mr. Feng has also held positions at TenFold as a software developer for trade-order management systems, and at Harvard University, where he taught geology, chemistry and statistics. Mr. Feng is a graduate of Harvard University with highest honors in Chemistry.

Megan Lawrence, Managing Director

Ms. Lawrence joined CCA in 2006 and has over 18 years of experience financing energy projects. At CCA, she has worked on the financing of over 7,000 MW of wind energy projects, over 500 MWac of solar energy projects, and over 300 MW of geothermal projects. In addition to such debt and tax-oriented financings, Ms. Lawrence has worked on several mergers and acquisitions involving individual renewable energy projects, as well as platforms of operating and development renewable energy assets. Prior to joining CCA, Ms. Lawrence was an attorney in the Project and Structured Finance Group of Bingham (now part of Morgan Lewis) for several years. As an attorney, she represented developers, equity investors and lenders in connection with transactions involving a broad array of energy projects, including wind, biomass, hydro, geothermal, fossil fuels and waste-to-energy. Ms. Lawrence also has worked on debt restructurings in the energy, rail and industrial equipment sectors. Ms. Lawrence has a B.A. from Boston College and a J.D., summa cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School.

Andrew Briggs, Managing Director

Mr. Briggs has over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of both domestic and international structured finance transactions involving assets primarily in the energy, transportation, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. During this tenure, he has worked in various capacities including economic modeling, debt and equity syndication, and structuring and advisory services on over $20 billion of tax and non-tax oriented financings. Prior to joining CCA Group, Mr. Briggs worked at GMAC Commercial Finance, Dexia Global Structured Finance and BTM Capital Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Northeastern University.

Cornelius Jackson, Managing Director

Mr. Jackson is a financial analyst who joined the company in 2009. He has been involved in pricing and structuring asset finance transactions since 1997. Prior to joining CCA Group, he worked for more than eight years at Babcock and Brown pricing and helping to structure numerous renewable energy transactions. Mr. Jackson also held pricing and structuring positions at Sumitomo Bank and The Transportation Group. Mr. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder.

Stephanie Prevost, General Counsel

Ms. Prevost has been involved in the project finance industry in various roles for more than thirteen years, with her experience focused primarily on renewable energy projects. Currently, Ms. Prevost serves as CCA Group’s General Counsel, managing the corporate legal function, regulatory compliance for CCA Capital LLC, the firm’s broker-dealer subsidiary, and corporate contract matters. Prior to joining CCA Group in 2008, Ms. Prevost was a Vice President at Capital Crossing, a division of Lehman Brothers Bank, FSB. Ms. Prevost was also an attorney in the Project and Structured Finance Group at Bingham McCutchen LLP where she worked on both energy and real estate project financings. Ms. Prevost was honored as a 2016 In-House Leader by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and holds a B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.

She holds Series 7 and 99 licenses.

Matthew Cammack, Managing Director

Mr. Cammack sources, structures and executes complex M&A and structured finance transactions in the power and energy sectors. Prior to joining CCA Group, Mr. Cammack was an attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he specialized in private equity transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, recapitalizations and restructurings. Previously, he was an Assistant Vice President at FleetBoston Financial (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch) and Suntrust Bank, where he was involved in underwriting credit to large and middle market companies in a wide range of industries for growth and acquisition. Mr. Cammack received a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University, and a J.D. from Georgetown University, where he served as an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal.

John DiMarco, Senior Director

Mr. DiMarco focuses on financing and M&A transactions in the power and energy sectors. Prior to joining CCA Group, he worked for seven years in the finance group at Terra-Gen Power, an independent power producer focused on the development and operations of renewable energy and natural gas-fired generation facilities. At Terra-Gen Mr. DiMarco led or collaborated on over $4 billion of financing and M&A transactions, and oversaw economic analysis for business development. Prior to joining Terra-Gen in 2008, Mr. DiMarco worked at GE Energy Financial Services where he concentrated primarily on tax equity investments in the renewable energy sector. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. DiMarco worked in the Structured Corporate Finance division of Citigroup. Mr. DiMarco holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Yiyun Tsai, Director

Ms. Tsai joined CCA Group in 2009 and has been involved in the financing and economic modeling of numerous asset transactions in the renewable energy and transportation sectors. Prior to joining CCA Group, Ms. Tsai was a quantitative analyst in the Structured Products Group at Deutsche Bank, where she worked on structured transactions across multiple asset classes including aircraft trading, lottery receivables/legal settlements and RMBS securitizations. She has also held analyst positions at Fannie Mae in the company’s Portfolio Management and Credit Portfolio Strategies groups. Ms. Tsai has a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Finance from Cornell University.

Jameson Neseralla, Associate Director

Mr. Neseralla joined CCA Group in 2017. Prior to joining CCA Group, he was an analyst in the Alternative Energy Finance group at Citigroup, where he worked on the structuring and execution of tax equity investments in the renewable energy space. Mr. Neseralla has a B.S. with a concentration in Finance from Boston College.
